I had planned to head to Moab, Utah to enjoy the arches again before returning to Colorado. The weather turned too hot so I headed straight to Colorado instead and now I'm truly regretting it. Moab, Utah and Arches National Park are two of the most beautiful, even spiritual places I've ever been. Now the Wall Arch has crumbled and I'll never have the opportunity to see it again. I have some of the most beautiful photos of that area - I even have photos of my kids standing underneath the arch when they were teens. I know a lot of people climbed on top of the arch on a regular basis. I wonder if that had anything to do with it weakening. I hope that the park service will prevent climbers from adding extra weight to the arches in the future, and hopefully preserve these for as long as possible. And I hope you all get to see them . . . it's definitely one of the top 10 places to see in America.

We have always enjoyed Arches National Park and will return there next year. At the moment I cannot recall which one is Wall Arch but I guess we will see it next year.
