Falling Waters This weekend

Taking two other non-RVing couples to Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Waters in western PA.

Staying at the Yogi Bear Campground and the other couples will stay in a cabin while we stay in our motorhome.

DW is cooking up a storm for this weekend:
- home made Polish pierogi's for Friday night
- home made meatballs, sauce and pasta on Saturday night!

Enjoy the trip. I was thinking about taking the family there in two weeks. My kids love Yogi Parks and my wife & I would like to see the Memorial not too far away.

I will be anxious to hear about the park as we have never been there yet.

Falling Waters was great this weekend. We took the 8:45AM 'in depth' tour that lasted about 2 hours.

Also went to Kentuck Knob which is another Frank Lloyd Wright designed home about 20 minutes away. After getting enough of houses, we hiked around Cucumber Falls which is nearby.

Yogi Bear campground was a little 'tired' looking but they have built a new entrance way (not yet opened) and it seems they are investing some money to spruce things up. A few sites had transient workers who were pretty loud on Saturday night (actually 3am Sunday morning!). Although no one was around to enforce quiet time, the staff was extremely friendly, made sure we got in our site OK, and even retrieved my cell phone that I left at the campsite (another story...).
