Finally!
Hi,
My name is Karen (husband is Martin) and welcome to our blog. Well, mine mainly since he probably will only write occasionally. We are newbies to RVing and are so excited to be part of a wonderful adventure. Last week we purchased our first RV (never having had a towable of any kind). This coming week after the necessary delays of paperwork, bank yada yada we will pick up our HR. And after a bit of getting used to driving such a behemoth, and hopefully not running anyone else off the road, we will begin our first voyage.
A bit about us: we are both retired after working in law enforcement in Atlanta, Georgia. Have been blessed with eight grandchildren who live in Georgia, Texas and New York. Although we love animals, we have no pets but expect one day to have several.
My request for today is if anyone has a campground recommendation for the central Florida area (Tampa, Ocala, Gainesville) would love to hear from you. Thanks in advance for your comments, recommendations and any hints to the RVing lifestyle are most welcome!
