Tell them the bikers from Jacksonville that come down for Leesburg Bikefest sent you. Robert/Bob to be exact. Enjoy. Quiet place. Close to almost anything you might need - shopping, hospital, tourist traps, ect. Well, lets hope you don't need a hospital.
Lots of nice places to eat on the water down there. Just out the drive and cross the bridge, on the opposite side of the creek is 2 nice places to eat.

I will tell them! I'll be making reservations later this summer. After talking with them on the phone, it really is the kind of place we were looking for. Thanks again!

East Lake Fish Camp on Lake Toho is nice for families also...pony rides, air boat rides, petting zoo, horse rescue, fishing, fishing guides, pool, restaurant on site, pool tables and video games in store/office. Lots of wildlife and beautiful old oak trees. Reasonable prices.

If you are looking for a campground with nice open sites and full hook-ups, you might be interested in Salt Spring Campground in the Ocala National Forest. There are natural springs for swimming, and a spring run for fishing and boating. The time you can stay is usually limited to months. Rates are reasonable. But contact the National Park, not the private campground across the street.
