First come/first serve Washington campgrounds
My husband and I are new to the area (PNW - specifically Washington) and are wondering how the first come/ first serve typically works out during the peak summer months? We travel with 2 children, 7 and 1.5 so we don't want to be searching for a place late in the evening. In the past we have tended to go with reservation only places because of this. But NP tend to be deeper in nature which we prefer but we are weary of the often posted first come first serve only. Are there typically spots available on a weekend or could we run into trouble?
