First Destination - - Myrtle Beach,

Well, the Dealer will have the Enterpiz (yes, to boldly go.....)ready for us on Friday. It looks like there is a 2 hour guided tour about all the little things we need to know. ( I was hoping it would be longer...LOL) then we will have a week to outfit, (already started with a lot of helpful hints from irv2 folks, Thanks)

So, tonight we have made our first Reservation at Myrtle Beach Ocean Lakes. It looks like it has everything that we may need our first time out.

Any stories to share about the area, or will anybody be at the same place 27-29 April????

Let the fun begin

You can make your pre delivery longer. Ask lots of questions. Remember you are the one making out the check. Make and keep a copy of items that need to be fixed. If that dealer won't do it, get it in writing that they will pay for it. Ocean Lakes has an rv store on site along with on site repairs if you need help. Do rent a golf cart. That place is huge. Do the seafood buffet at Crabby Mike's just south of there.

Ditto. Bikes will work if you don't want a cart. Try to get a site near the pool and you won't have far to go.

Enjoy!

Spent 7 days there last summer. Ocean lakes is a great place. We have been to Myrtle Beach many times.

The things that we like to do:
Market Commons
Broadway at the beach (eat lunch at Johnny Rockets)
Bare foot landing
Ride the sky wheel
Eat at Angelo's!!!! Looks can be deceiving! Best steak ever.

That's just a few of the things that we enjoy.

I big time use those to remind me to close the roof vent before departing. (Place it on the steering wheel.)
