Flagler Beach

Reading some reviews for Beverly Beach Camptown which referenced unleashed nasty dogs. This concerns us and was wondering if anyone had any experiences at this place? Along the coast are there other similar places that offer the immediate beach access? We've been to Jetty Park in Caniveral. We're open to anywhere along the cost as far as Vero.

Been staying there for years and never had a problem with dogs. We always walked our dogs out on the sidewalks or down on the beach. You probably won't find anywhere to get that close to the beach. We loved drinking coffee in the morning in our motorhome front seats and watching the dolphins swimming by

Other beach front options are Coral Sands in Ormond Beach and Gamble Rogers in Flagler

Very tight sites on the beach front. Pull in/back in and both awning cannot be extended at the same time. We stayed next to the sea wall and the view was fine but at the end of the stay there was a 'salty' coating on the skin of the coach. We could step out the front door and take a couple of steps and be right beside the wall. About 5 or 6 feet down and you are on the beach. With a strong on-shore wind, waves splashed against the wall. Pricy however!!

We did encounter a bit of dog poop around however

One of our favorite beachfront campgrounds. Great view from the windshield and you can't get much closer to the beach.

I've been there a couple times and never saw a dog running there. It is a prime location.

Stayed there for 5 days after Christmas and didn't have any issues with dogs. $130 a night seemed very steep. It was a nice park, but without a pool or hot tub seems pretty pricy for the amenities. But can't beat the view. Click image for larger version

Stayed there 10 years ago back then a place to park with a great ocean view if you get ocean front. They have a bait store if you like to fish which a lot of campers did. If its still open salt water cowboys is a good resturant.

Flagler is one of the few if not the ONLY places in Florida that you're even allowed to take your dogs on the beach!
