Well we we made to Columbia, Sc just fine. We stayed the Weston Lake recreation area on Ft. Jackson. Wondeful campground. Concrete pads, 30/50Amp, water, sewer. WiFi but it did not work too good. But we have our own tele hotspot. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of space between spots. Like you are in the woods camping.
Now we are at Pelican's Roost at the Mayport Naval Air Station, in Mayport, Florida. Not much room between spots here. Very clean. Bathrooms and showers and free washers and dryers. 30/50 amp, water, sewer, cable and wifi. Nice clubhouse here with some activities. Very helpful staff. Here you have to get a pass for your vehicles or a 5 year sticker. Yoiu have to have registration and insurance card. They let us right on base with my id card when we came, but then we went off to the commisary and tried to came back on in the car and that's when I had to get a pass. Guess the guard that let us in originally made a mistake. Anyway all is good. We are here for a week. Gonna check out Jacksonville and then St. Augustine.
Then, who knows? Maybe back to Illinois? Oh Cold!
