Florida for the winter

Hi All,

We are looking to winter in Florida in the West Palm Beach area for a couple of months then to go to the Keys for a month. It looks like Jan, Feb, and Mar are the months we will be there. So any help in would be greatly appreciated.

Vacation inn resorts. It's an ownership park that rents monthly. I own a space there and have rented my space in between MH's. Google it as it may fit your needs. It's in West Palm Beach area.

Hi fotoman54,
Welcome to iRV2. Consider Lion Country Safari at Lion Country Safari - KOA Camp Ground
The location is away from the "drama" of WPB. All your favorite stores are about 5 miles away.

For the Keys, consider Sunshine Key at Big Pine Key RV Campgrounds and Resorts | RV Campgrounds in Big Pine Key, Florida There is plenty to do both north and south of the resort.

The Palm Beach Traveler on Lawrence Rd in Lantana is a good option for the West Palm area. I keep my KountryStar DP in thier storage lot and have stayed on one of thier sites. Dedicated dog walk area and some sites have had new pads installed. Its not the newest RV park but the sites are level and they have full hookups. Lots of Canadien RVr's stay there in the prime winter months so book early if possible. Sites are a little small but big rigs fit with no problem. As GaryKD mentioned the KOA is also a good alternative. Good luck with your search.

This is a little south of West Palm Beach, but we like www.TYPark.com
This is a county ran park, right in the center of Hollywood, FL. Close to some
great restaurants. Joes Pizza, Le-Tub and plenty of others, we just happen to like Joes for great Italian food, not just pizza; and Le-Tub for tremendous hamburgers and chili. The casino is close by as well as any kind of shopping you may be interesed in. The beach is about 2 or 3 miles from the park.
The campground is $40.00 a night, no breaks for longer stays though. Its very well set up, level sights with all the emenities. Park also has plenty of things to do. The only down side is Tri-rail runs right beside the park, so ask for a site away from the tracks.

No RV at the moment
