Florida for Winter CG's

This is our 1st year FT'ing and we want to spend it close to our son in NC, in northern FL, east of Tallahassee, north of Ocala. If you've got a favorite please recommend it. Our budget is under $800/mo preferably on water. Thanks

Most if not all fulltimers who winter in FL. do so quite a bit further south than Ocala. We have wintered in the Silver Springs/Ocala area twice and it was...COLD. We're headed further south this year.

Can't help much north of Ocala, but we stay at Blueberry Hill RV Resort about 45 minutes south of Ocala. Nice place with friendly people. Rates are $550/month +electric for stays of 3 months or longer. Blueberry Hill is about 45-60 minutes from the Gulf Coast.

The company that owns Blueberry Hill also owns another RV park north of Ocala called Grand Lake RV and Golf Resort. We've never been there, but I've heard it's nice, too.
