We are looking to go to the Clearwater St Pete area last two weeks of May.Hoping the weather will be good then not cool and not boiling hot yet.We are looking for a camp ground we can camp right on the ocean without our awning hitting the neighbors rig.We also need wi fi that will work at the camper not just around the office.Thanks.

Hi bishgeo,
There may be no replies because there may not be camping on the ocean around the area mentioned in your OP. If there is nothing on the beach, what would you accept? More North or South or East?

May will feel very warm to you. It will be A/C weather.

You might want to look at Fort DeSoto although I don't think they have wifi..

A little bit further south but we love this place in Ft. Myers Beach. Red Coconut

Last year we camped on the beach and it was awesome. This March we will be there as well.

Good Luck
