Blue Water Key. Www.bluewaterkey.net. There is also another group dot com, I think, that does rentals. Most expensive place I've ever stayed, but probably the prettiest. Remember location, location, location.

Reserve now. You just can't drive down there and expect to find a spot. I've heard good things about Boyds just north of Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. The Sunshine Key KOA has narrow spaces but its location is good. Make sure you read the fine print to see if they have 50 amp service if you need it. If you only need 30 amp service then I recommend Long Key State Park. Rocky beaches but you can camp on the shoreline. If you are going to stop in Homestead and make it to your camp site the next day you can overnight in the Walmart if your OK with that or you could stay at Southern Comfort RV Resort just east of US1 on 344 st. Avoid staying west of US 1 for safety reasons. The keys are very popular and when you get down there you will see why. Have fun and make sure you have a designated driver for your nights in Key West.

We will be at Bluewater in December.... regardless of where you go, reserve now, it still may be too late. Here's some places... Boyd's,El Mar ( both on Stock Island) , Geiger Key RV/Marina ,Blue Water, Knight's Key RV, Big Pine Fishing Lodge

Bluewater Key is very nice, Bahia Honda lot of road noise from the bridge but okay, Boyds have not stayed there drove thru decided not to but it is great for Key West access. We will stick with Bluewater Key.

Long drive, surprise her and fly into Key West for 2/3 days, you can walk Key West easy in 2 days.
