Florida-No Vacancy!
If you are coming to Florida next month in Feb. or in March, better hope you have reservations! Call ahead for sure. Seems to be a record number of snowbirds down here this year.
Anyone else experiencing an over amount of snowbirds?

YES, we are on a boat in the Marathon mooring field and it is full, along with the anchorages. Never seen so many boats.
The M/H traffic is constant going up and down US 1.

Central Florida does seem very booked. Looks like theres more open spaces up in the Panhandle.

We're booked solid in Willow Lakes. The panhandle might have spots but they would be inland. Very busy season. My guess folks had enough last year and this year NE is no better nor the mid west.

You have to plan at least a year in advance. The other option would be somewhere in The Great Lakes area, I understand they have some vacancies this time of year!

PLENTY of spaces open here on Sunshine Key...not nearly as crowded as last year.

South central Florida here: Our park has absolutely no RV openings.
A few spots open in the tenting area but that is all.

We're in central Florida. I think there's a handful of lots in our section with nothing on them right now, out of 230 +. A couple of years ago there would have been a few dozen.

One disadvantage of cheaper gas and fuel. Heavier traffic is another.

Many more folks here in Arizona as well.. Lots of people disappointed.
We have already started making reservations for next year. But we have "Favorite State Parks".

Why are they disappointed? No space or the weather?

Well if Flordia has hung out the NO VACANCY signs, I can tell you about a bunch of campgronds within sixty miles of the Flordia State Line.
I am i Cathead Creek Ranch RV park, Now this is a small park 2 dozen sites, perhaps half a dozen vacencies, NO trees, pool, golf, _____ (Well there is a common shower, and 1 each washer and dryer) very friendly, and the folks who park here.. Well as I was asking Darryl the other day "Wern't you going to leave?" "Yup Monday about a month and a half ago",, He (and many others) just can't seem to find the get up to go, they like it here so much.
Full hookup (All but a couple sites 50 amps) Cable TV, Wi-Fi.
Inland Harbor.. They will inspect your rig to see if it looks good enough.
Exit 49, Darien, Inland harbor is on the S.E side of the freeway (Borders freeway) Cat Creek 3 miles in the other direction. (N.W.)
Macintosh Lake and Lake Harmony (next exit (58) both on the N.W. side of the freeway, next door to each other.
Cathead Creek 50 amps is 375/month, The other two at Exit 68 are cheaper but electricity is metered and charged. I am at Cathead Creek.
IF you want a church to attend on Sunday Morning, Cathead Creek Ranch Cowboy Church is ... About 150 yards from my site.

My daughter and husband bought a new TT last week and have had zero luck trying to find a campground, particularly state parks, in south or central florida for a weekend tryout.
North of Gainesville seem to have more openings and Panhandle no problem.

Because it's cold there - not that my relatives still back home in Wisconsin would be at all sympathetic if I complained about highs in the 50s - 60s.
