Florida panhandle

Going to be staying at blueberry hill rv park in bushnell for feb/march then slowly make our way back to michigan by end of april.
Was going to head towards panhandle area for a week then head north back up 65 from mobile alabama.
Any suggestions on where to stay in panhandle area

State parks near the beach in Destin, Fl are good for 14 day stays. We like Henderson SP, but no sewer hook up, just dump station. Great beach to walk on and you can ride your bike to many restaurants. Top Sail SP has full hook ups.

We stayed for a week at Top Sail State Park two years ago and it was great.

If you are looking for a very nice SP just north of Pensacola look up Black River State Park. I have stayed a lot of p[aces but this one is at the top of my list.

Buena Vista at Orange Beach, AL is really nice. Several different price points depending on the amenities you choose. My parents have stayed at Gulf State Park also at Orange Beach before and said it is a good value. Easy drive to I-65 from there. Have also stayed at Destin RV and it is nice. Smaller lots and no options on amenities.

Presnells in Port St Joe is up and running. Showers and such are all new. The area could use the business. Coast Line in East Point, Carrabelle Beach RV resort are both nice.

We like East Bank COE on Lake Seminole near Chattahoochee. Also Big Lagoon SP in Pensacola. While there, visit the Navy Aviation Museum.

We stayed at Twin Lakes Camp Resort in DeFuniak Springs last March and loved it. It was a great central location for us but may too far away from the beaches for most people. Much quieter than the areas along the coast and the crazy traffic. Nice facilities and great people. Probably 125 miles to Mobil. Safe Travels.

Welcome to Mr. D's RV Park

Are these on your route?
Both are small but nice parks.

That’s what makes Presnells a great spot.

Also, if your traveling with a furry passenger, there welcomed on the beach from the Cape to Carrabelle.
