Florida to Michigan in May
We will be driving from Florida to northern Michigan in mid-May. We would like to do a couple of one day rest stops to break up the driving and are wondering if there are places of interest to stop along the way that we have not been to before. We have been to Atlanta, Chattanooga, Nashville, Gatlinburg and Asheville. Any other suggestions??

If you are into airplanes, the Airforce museum here in Dayton, OH might be worth a visit

One of our favorite overnight stops is the Kentucky horse park in Lexington on I 75, easy in and out nice and quiet, not to expensive

If you are going all the way up to Michigan, don't miss the small town of Copper harbor...tip of the UP! Yes they have a campground. Beautiful! And don't miss the bakery run by the monks...diet before you go..it's that good!
Safe Travels

All great suggestions. Many of them we have seen and will consider the others. Thanks all.
