Hi KIX,
We live 1.5 miles down the road from Suncoast design, and would be glad to have you over while waiting on your window repair, but we are cooling off in the mountains of WV for the summer. I'm sure you'll get great service at Suncoast. They generally have 5-10 big coaches at a time in there getting the windows done. Never heard anything but great reviews.
Consider
Bay Aire RV Park if you have Passport America or CampClubUSA, or have bicycles. Very close to Tarpon, and the Pinellas Trail is a great bikepath (early in the am this time of year). Caladesi is very nice, but requires a ferry ride ($). Fred Howard Park is a county park with a nice beach, and Clearwater Beach or Sand Key Park (just over the Clearwater Pass Bridge, south of Clw Bch) is hard to beat. Get to any beach early(before 10am weekdays, before 9 weekends) to get parking (Sand Key being the exception - hundreds of parking spaces). All charge admission or parking fees. Online search of Pinellas County Parks should tell you how much for Fred Howard or Sand Key. Caladesi is a state park; Clw Bch is by City of Clw Bch.
While in Hudson, you might like Sam's On The Beach (Hudson Beach, not much of a beach, but Sam's is cool) for eating outside on the deck and live beach type music in the evening (I think every evening, but not sure). A nice little playground there if you have kids, plus pavillions close to the water for shade. Weeki Wachee Springs State Park is just 10 miles north of Hudson. They have Bucaneer Bay water park that uses the cool water of the springs. Weeki also has a vendor that does canoe & kayak rentals down the crystal clear river with a pick-up shuttle. Can access those at the rear of the parking lot without having to pay admission to the park. Just some ideas for cool activities in hot weather.
