It will be tough but we have done it and in fact again this year we will be in Florida for February with some but not all reservations.
Most of the state parks (our favorite places to camp in Florida) hold out a few spots for daily no reserved folks. We have been very lucky at this and usually if we can be there by 10am or a bit earlier can snag a spot for a few days at a time.

Actually, we got a month at Geronimo RV Park in Miramar Beach. Just over 900.00. Two blocks to the beach.

Someone asked if Destin was warm. It has been what I consider perfect here. Sunny and 72 in the daytime, mid 50’s at night. Here is the 10 day.

Well i want to thank you all for your informatives reply’s, i think like most of you answered that it will be difficult to find some interesting sites to stay at, especially for a 2 months periods and lot of places to see and stay. So i change my destination for Texas, i just write at Paradise south rv resort in Mercedes for a price for a 2 months stay, big surprise regular price is $590.90 and first time visit $299.00 unbelievable don’t you think for a 2 months period (1/18/2018 to 3/17/2018). Those that i was looking for in Florida where $600 a month and that for the cheapest one. Now i would like some info about this campground from those of you who know that campground or maybe some other one in the same county, never been to Texas yet.
Again thank you all

Definitely would not attempt to find campsites in the Keys this winter without reservations.
Hurricane Irma destroyed many parks, both private and State Parks, and they will simply not open this Winter, which ultimately puts more demand on those operational.
If you decided to just drive down and boondock, you may also be out of luck as I'm not sure if it is allowed!
Even the last Walmart on the mainland (Homestead FL.) has signs posted, No Overnight Parking.

You might want to start a new post titled "Paradise South RV Resort, Mercedes, TX" for more input on your question. The title of this post is for Florida so not as many people will see your post.

We recently booked the same time you're looking for at Ja-Mar in Port Richey. It's on the Gulf, very nice park and reasonable. They had a couple spots left when we booked right before Thanksgiving. For something more central try searching Polk City, Bay Lakes also had opening, bit higher priced but it's an amazing luxury resort. Ja Mar will do month to month, Bay Lakes I think was 3 month minimum.
