Fly fishing, wading and a nice RV Park?

Due to the fires, we are having to cancel our trip to Creede, CO :( so I am now looking for a nice fishing location where I can fly fish and DW can enjoy the area.

Up to 1000 miles from Las Vegas - any suggestions?

Idaho has been mentioned but most of my research indicates that the fishing is float or boat - I just want to bank wade and walk the river.

Anyone have any experience of a nice RV park with fishing at or close to the park?

There are several RV Parks on the Salmon River near Salmon Idaho. We are staying right on the river at Wagonhammer's in August. You might check out their website.

Island Park Idaho. The Henry's Fork of the Snake River is arguably one of the finest trout streams in the lower forty-eight states. Last Chance and Harriman State Park section of the Henry's Fork is famous among dry fly fisherman the world over. Large rainbow trout, beautiful sunsets, prolific hatches, and perfect presentations. Many forest service campgrounds most with water and electric. If you want full hookup Sawtelle RV park will fit your needs. http://www.sawtellemountainresort.com/rv-tent-park

There are many wading spots in the Salmon River from the town of Stanley over to the town of Salmon.
