Does anyone have any comments about the Fontana Village Campgrounds in North Carolina?

All:

We are heading out Friday, July 17th for a 3+ week trip. Heading to Fontana Village campgrounds first. Hoping to get some feedback on the campgrounds before we leave.

Any comments would be appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend it, see the review I posted a couple years ago.

We held an iRV2 Spring Rally there with the Appalachian Campers in 2007 and were very disappointed in the CG and the administration of it. Sites we're graveled with no maintenance and consequently the gravel was grown over and hardly discernible. Electricity was only 104 volts and they weren't even concerned about it.

Entrance road full of pot holes and grass wasn't mowed. For the money they charge there are much better places to go. Dump station was poorly maintained (there are no sewer hookups.)
