They have a family campground on the base as well as supposedly the largest PX, I look forward to stopping there as soon as I can.

We have stayed at the Clarksville RV Park and Camping twice while visiting family there. It is a really nice park and well located.

Best..Madisons

Call the post and ask how often the campgrounds are full. I would bet that unless there is something special going on they will have quite a few empty spots.

It is a nice FamCamp and in July probably would not be to full. We have stayed several times with no reservations. But as stated have your daughter check into it. If you are not military or retired you will not be able to stay there under your name anyway. And make sure you have no guns in your rig or atleast check them in at the Military Police. I haven't been on a military base since last winter so I am not sure what you would need to get on if you are not active or retired. I am retired and have to show both our ID's to get on as they have been doing 100% ID checks.

Be sure to thank her for her service to our country.

Ft. Campbell has two campgrounds, one of the two should have an opening. call the phone # and inquire. According to militarycampgrounds.us
Destiny Parks and Pavillion is actually off-post and open to the public.
