We just returned from a 2 night stay at beautiful Fort DeSoto Campground. A beautiful Florida forest of palm trees, near St. Pete Beach. We had a large site right along the water, with plenty of room for our 21ft TT, 10 x 14ft screen room tent and SUV. The park is beautiful but very neat and clean. One can now book advance reservations on their web site. Even though we live very close to the park we wanted to have a special campout with our daughter and grandaughter that were visiting and special it was. We will return often.

We also like this campground, weekends fill up quick though, the online reservation is also convenient, it a nice escape from the hustle and bustle

We have reservations on the pet loop for Memorial weekend for 3 nights. We look forward to going here. It will be the last stop on our 10 day vacation before we hear home. We've heard great things about this park and can't wait to go!
