Fort Dodge , Iowa

We are traveling in a 39 foot Class A and plan to spend two nights in the Fort Dodge , Iowa area. Can anyone recommend a park, state or privately owned that they have RECENTLY stayed at? The few reviews that I have read are not positive. We have found in our travels across the U.S. that there are alot of parks that are not set up for longer coaches and also alot of very run down parks.

Brushy Creek state park is real close. Have not stayed there, but its relatively new and Iowa does a good job maintaining their parks. We use alot of older Iowa state parks with no problems with our 40' coach

Thank you for your reply. We found that the city of Pomeroy, Ia. has a downtown park with six RV spaces. Full hook up for $15.00 per night. Four pull through and two back in, good electric. The only thing of interest in down is a guy that makes custom kaleidoscopes , neat place.
