Fort Morgan RV Park - Gulf Shores, AL

Has anyone camped at Fort Morgan RV Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama anytime recently? We live in the Atlanta area and are looking to spend a couple of weeks at Gulf Shores in July in our motorhome. Fort Morgan is not listed by Good Sam or Woodall's, but we find good reviews on the Fort Morgan website and others when Googling. Since we will be well into the summer heat by then, shaded space is a priority and Fort Morgan seems to have it covered.

I have not been there but if you are looking for places try Gulf State Park in Gukf shores, Al. About 10 miles east of Fort Morgan. Not to much shade, Hurricane Iva fixed that. It has several activites for kids and is close to town. Lots to do in Gulf Shores.

We have not tried Fort Morgan yet. We love Topsail State Park in Destin, but they book up well in advance. We are staying this weekend at Navarre Beach Campground. Its nice, but no direct beach access. Beautiful public beach access in only a few miles away. We love the panhandle beaches so much that we plan to keep trying all the campgrounds out. Eventually we will get to Fort Morgan! We live in Bham.

We will be on Dauphin Island Friday. It is a ferry ride from Ft. Morgan.
