I have never stayed at Road Runner but I have driven through it and the people were very friendly, I remembered the saying "you get what you pay for!" I recall most of the units, Class A's, Class C's, trailers, with or without wheels were scattered on the grass. We stayed the winter months at Treasure Coast the last 4 years a great resort until the manager retired, with a new manager last year it's just not the same. There are loads of us in class A's not coming back this year because of the attitude at the front office. You have to do some checking I would start at: Reviews of RV Parks and Campgrounds - RV Park Reviews

Best of luck

Just remember that Ave D is considered to be the worst part of town, drug infested, lowest of the low life around. This park is north of that area, but don't be caught going the wrong way toward that area.

It would be a bit safer further north, like in Vero Beach, further south, like in Port Saint Lucie, Jensen Beach, Jonathan Dickinson State Park Campground, Hobe Sound.

Regardless, the reviews don't seem to bad for that park.

Stayed at Treasure Coast last winter for a few weeks. Friendly campers but not so much for staff. Agree with Lit. Also unless you go outside grounds not very dog friendly. Just looking for something else. David

Stayed a couple of day a couple of years ago, not bad but certainly no resort. Does have some semi permanent residents and you could be mixed in with them. Price was reasonable for what you get.

We stayed there overnite in December then two weeks in late March. The place is fine...no crime. Park cafe remodeled while we were there. Town is very nice with restaurants and Saturday flea market very nice. We noticed in the park that most of the French Canadians kept to themselves, and the mainland Americans did the same. Owners and most employees very pleasant and helpful. Very nice pool, well stocked store.

Sounds like the reviews I read... Don't sound bad after-all.
