fort tuthill coconino county park campground

We're picking up a guest at the Flagstaff Airport and ran across this park. She'll arrive around 11PM and this appears to be the closet. It looks like they only have 6 sites with full hookup. The next park would be Black Bart's. We then plan to head to the Grand Canyon and beyond. Anyway any input on these parks would be appreciated or another choice. Txs to all.

There is a pretty good KOA in Flagstaff, located on the Hwy to Grand Canyon, and close to freeway access to Walnut Canyon Natl Monument.

Thought I'd update. We elected to stay at Black Barks which was a nice park. We did check out Cocino. It looked nice, very wooded and the sites were tight. It is about a 1/2 mile to the airport and a straight shot which makes it ideal if you are picking up someone flying in. We ate our lunch in their "large" parking lot before dropping our guest at the airport.

Thumbs down

We've yet to find an RV park in Flagstaff that we can brag about, I don't think one exist. The KOAs (Williams and Flagstaff) are clean but parking is tight and costly, like most KOAs.
