We went with my 2 sons in 1978 & 1979. We're planning on returning with my 2 sons and their families next year.

Right now is spring break "season", the rates will be close to their highest. Same is true around all major holidays. Rates also vary depending on where in the park you are and the amenities found on or near the site.

Visit the Walt Disney World web site and you can find a chart with the rates showing how and where they vary. You can stay for considerably less than what is quoted here if you have some flexibility. That said, it is going to be one of the most expensive RV parks you'll ever stay in but we've met very few that didn't think it added to the Disney experience, or that it wasn't a great destination in it's own right, even if the theme parks weren't right there.

I know y'all are havin' fun.

We went last year and have a 2+ week Fla tour coming up in May.
Just 5 days at Disney though.

The rates get lower the longer you book your stay.

The per day ticket price gets lower but I don't think the campground rate changes. There are different rates for weekends vs. weekdays. Price definitely varies by season.

I booked for November, campground only, premium spot $100 per day (when you average the higher weekend and lower weekday. There was not a AAA discount available when I booked, but I will call and check in a few weeks.

Call AAA directly and they will let you know when the discounts are available. I believe that during peak seasons it is not available, but I could be wrong. We arrive there today and we were able to get it.
