Tried booking at FOrt Wilderness and it seems to be booked on any date we tried. How long in advance did you have to book?

There is plenty of space right now but there are times where you must book as much as a year in advance; like Halloween, Christmas, New Years and June through the second week in August. Spring Break is no picnic either.

We are visiting Mickey ... But this time we are in one of the resort hotel properties. We were there in our MH if Feb for a week and never stepped in a park! This trip is with the entire family. Kids, grand kinds...82 year old Mom. We will be back again in Feb... Just the two of us! Love it here .

Fort Wilderness ....

We will be there for Halloween. Was there last year too! I booked the week before, just had to play around with dates and found an opening. Calling is good too! I like the 1000-1200 loops, always bring your own golf cart to the Fort.

We love the campground and all that it offers. We always buy annual passes, even from Wisconsin, but we could enjoy the resort without even going to a park. I know there are options outside of FW, and we have stayed at a few of them, but nothing compares to the FW experience. Pricey, Yes......but it is magical !!!

Yes, we drove around tonight in the golf cart too look at the Halloween lights people have displayed. Quite impressive! Can imagine Christmas is something to behold.

We have been there post Thanksgiving the last 3 years, and the Christmas display is more impressive than most subdivisions. The people are so creative and passionate in their displays, it is a unique experience only to RVers.

Be sure to get tickets to the Mickeys not so scary Halloween party. Book early.

We live nearby and just returned from our spring/summer trip. Annual pass holders of course. Often we take a drive to the FT just to look at the decorations. Amazing what people do.
