Fort Wilderness visitor policy/charges??

We will be at FW late Nov, early Dec. Some of DW's family will be staying in the area and visiting the parks with us. I am sure they will want to visit us at FW during that time. We've looked at WDW website and check the book we have on WDW but can find nothing related to having visitors.

Do they charge for day visits, short visits or do your visitors merely have to register/check-in at the gate? They will have park hopper passes so will be Disney guests.

Visitor can park in the lot and ride the bus down to the Trading Post, Trails End Buffet, and Whoop Dee Doo Review without registering at no charge. They just can't bring their car into Ft Wilderness as a visitor. You should be able to pick them up in the parking lot without any problem.

What Dave said.

They will be asked for ID at the guard house, but will be let into the parking lot near the registration building.

Thanks folks. So I guess they can catch a bus and get off at the 'station' at the entrance to our loop.
