We’re headed to Four Corners Monument and have a couple questions for those of you that have been there. Can you park two 33ft 5th wheel there? Is there any place close by to camp? Is it easier to camp somewhere and use it as a base to get to Four Corners?
Thanks

If you get on Google Earth and do a street view of the entrance, the sign mentions bus entrance fees, so you should be able to get in fine. BTW, it says $3/person. The overhead view shows a big loop and what looks like a large vehicle on the road. The street view shows snow on the ground, so it must not have been prime tourist season. No camping there, and the area is tribal land, so probably nearby public or private campgrounds are your option.

If you haven't already been to Four Corners Monument, don't get your hopes up. Many classify it as a tourist trap with very little to see. I read last year the area has been resurveyed and the current attraction is miles from the actual "four corners". I would highly recommend Canyon DeChelley Nat. Monument 90 miles south. There is a nice "free" campground at the visitor center with shade and dump station. This is a very interesting and scenic part of AZ.

We were there in 2000 with a 29 foot Class C towing a minivan and had plenty of room. Good deals on hand crafted items but you'll be done in 2 hours.

We camped in Cortez, CO.

It's worth seeing once. Nice monument to get a picture standing in all four states. Otherwise it's Fry bread and cheap Navajo jewlery. While your there you should see Monument Valley and be sure to take the toad on the scenic loop. There is also a nice campground there. More cheap Navajo tourist jewlery but the Vistas are breathtaking. You only make one lap in life so you should see everything you can!!
