Ft Myers area RV resorts..

Found a dozen 4/5 star parks in the area, all with various reservation rules. Most delay 1 month reservations until later in the year. Understand this as they prefer to book through the winter.
Anybody have a favorite they want to share? We have been to the gulf coast area several times during the winter and I find it easy to get a 1 month reservation. But after a couple chilly winters, we need to be further south!

We've spent time here: RiverBend Motorcoach Resort a couple of times. Very nice resort; kind of distant from area attractions.

Don't recall any difficulty making reservations.

Take care,
Stu

Fort Muers is a great location in the winter months. Getting south of the Calusahatchee gives you reliably warm weather. There will be cold snaps but they are short.

We own a lot at Cypress Woods and its a wonderful resort. Very friendly people and lots of activities. Reasonably close to beaches and shopping g without being in heavy traffic patterns.

It's probably not what you're looking for but I thought I'd share it with you anyway, just in case. We stayed at the WP Franklin COE Campground just outside of Ft Myers. It's right on the Caloosahatchee River. The down side is that it's only for 14 days and there's no sewer. It is hard to get into and you can only book 6 months in advance. It might help if you needed to fill a few days in before you got into your monthly park. With our senior pass, it was only $12.00 per night.

I spent a winter at Cypress Woods. Very nice gated park.

Thanks for the feedback so far.. Hadn't checked out Cypress woods.. Called them and they only take your name for now. They allows for end of season return clients, and a spring sales cycle before taking reservations..
