Fun plans for Memorial Day weekend?

We are heading to Loft Mountain campground on Skyline Drive for the three day weekend. In fact, we both have Friday off, so it will be a nice 4 day weekend! We love to ride out motorcycles on the Drive and in the surrounding areas. Hoping for good weather. Anyone else have special plans for the weekend?

In the midst of all our fun, let's not forget to remember those who lost their lives for our freedom.

We're planning to head to the Indy 500. Any weekend away in the RV is a good weekend!

All Holiday weekends.......we stay to home, avoid crowds, higher prices, etc. and the weekend after......most places are empty.......then we go.

That's what we do. My father stopped playing golf on weekends once he retired. His thought was he could play any time during the week, so workers should have the course when they weren't working. I still work, but have flexible hours, and have adopted that point of view for holiday weekends.

We camped on the Fourth of July 30 plus years ago. Haven't done a holiday since then. As previously stated, the weekend after is much quieter and less crowded.
