Need some feedback on Death Valley - Furnace Creek area! Any and all info would be appreciated!! Boondocking? Climate? Dust?

Been a while since I was there but Furnace Creek campground had very restrictive generator hours and they were enforced. I was shaving early in evening and ranger threw a hissy about my generator running.

Rock Pile is good and there is a campground host a member here who can fill you in.
