If your thinking of viewing Fall Colors consider the Blue Ridge, Blairsville Hiawassee area of GA. Each town is adjacent to a TVA lake which adds to the scenic beauty. While there go to the Fall Festival at the Hiawassee Fairgrounds, especially if you like country music, and Octoberfest in nearby Helen.
Stop by and visit us at Lake Nottely CG in Blairsville!

This is a wonderful, quiet area with many fun things to do and see, shops, antiques, flea markets and great food. Still small town and quaint section of Georgia, not at all like Pigeon Forge or Sevierville - and less expensive! Helen offers all you can do in a day. Brasstown Bald is worth a trip and you can see where many folks train for the Tour de France, plus the Appalachian Trial crosses over the top for those who hike.
