Galveston, TX parking recommendation while crusing

Looking for Class A MH parking options near Galveston Port to go on a cruise for 1-2 weeks this winter. 40' motor home towing a trailblazer = 61" OAL.
Thanks in advance-

I would look for a gate secured storage facility. Also, If it is still hurricane season, I'd not park it on the coast, but go about 100 miles inland.

There are a couple of RV campgrounds in Hitchcock. Just a short drive to the island.

Qwert66, what were you able to find? A group I belong to is doing their Annual Meeting in September 2013 on a cruise out of Galveston. I need about a 44' long space for my Sprinter van (long wheelbase + high roof) and my 17' travel trailer. 20 amp electric would be nice but not mandatory. TIA!
