Garden of the Gods CG in Colorado Springs

I've searched and found several reviews, but most seem to be several years old, anyone have any recent experience at Garden of the Gods CG in COS? It appears they have made some recent renovations and enhanced the CG quite a bit from their website.

We are all planning a family reunion at Christmas in Colorado Springs and since I'm taking Katie's Coach and my babies, everything revolves around me. Just kidding.

Seriously though, we need at least 4 lodges/with a minimum of 6 sleeping in each and a central hall with kitchen facilities for the meal/games/gifts. It's almost like planning on a mini rv rally. Or maybe there are rental rv's and the out of town family could stay in them. Guess I need to just call them.

Since over 50% of the family lives in the COS area, and because our two Mothers, the matriarchs of our families, lived there and that's where we spent the last 6 Christmases through Christmas 2007 is why we are going to be in Colorado Springs for Christmas.

Ramble ramble blah blah. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with this CG and or any suggestions in the immediate COS vicinity that will be open and have something like what I'm looking for in the cold off season month of December.....?

Thanks for all the ideas and input folks. Love my IRV2 springboard here, where all good ideas start.

We were there last July and enjoyed it. Many of the spots are tight, but we enjoyed it there. We would go back.

The name of that city owned park describes it WELL !!!

Garden of the Gods is stunning --- just don't try to drive your rv thru the park itself

Jealous, I am !

I know, right? I think the one down off 115 might be better suited for us. Thanks for the input folks.
