Kickapoo Stump Dodger campground. Located in Gays Mills, Wisconsin. We went there this last weekend. We went to check in and the owner came up and asked me if I had a car with. I told him I just had the MH and he told me I could use his golf cart to go around town with and if I needed to go to someplace out of town, he had a truck or Jeep that I could use........... for FREE! I used his golf cart. A very nice and honest guy. There was an apple festival going on in Gays Mills. The town and people there reminded me of how it was around here in the 50's and 60's. The lots are grass right now and there is water and electricity. The owner is impoving the camp ground and there will soon be outdoor movies. Beautiful country and the apple orchards are just outside of town. The cost was $17.00 per night. (with the golf cart). Oh ya, free firewood also. You are right next to a river and the fairgrounds......... we will be back.
You have to use the city dump station but it is not a problem and costs nothing.
