Can anyone recommend a campground along the coast of Georgia?

Coastal Georgia RV Resort. 287 South Port Parkway, Brunswick, GA.

Paved roads, concrete pads, good wifi.

Google them and you can find their website. If you come here, tell them Rick recommended the park, and send me a message when you get here and I will stop by and say hi.

Absolutely one of the cleanest nicest RV Resorts I have ever been in! We just left there two weeks ago after staying a week. My only complaint is the spotty wifi, once a lot of people log on, the speed slows to a crawl. Other than that, it's just one great place and close to St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island.

If you don't mind crossing the border and going a short way into South Carolina, Hunting Island State Park is a real delight. You camp within sight of a very secluded and beautiful beach, within a forest where you will have deer and raccoon wander through your campsite. It's not an "RV resort" with swimming pools, WiFi, and concrete pads, but much more to our liking, anyway.

Jekyl Island State Park. The campground isn't on the beach but it is within walking distance. A lot of history and activities.

Jekyll Island

Jekyll Island is nice, expensive but nice.

We stayed at Cathead Creek Ranch RV park which is in Townsend, you take the exit for Darien and the Darien outlet mall (What is that 39 or 49, forget which) and turn towards the mall entrance, DO NOT TURN INTO THE MALL... Continue as straight as possible about 3 miles, Just before you get to the park the road you are on curves right but another road continues straight, that is the way to go, Straight..

Park is small (About 30-40 sites) Good Wi-Fi, allmost all sites are pull through 50 amp full hookup, No trees or amenities to speak of (But you are there to visit the coast) but the on-site Cowboy Church (Thursday Evening pot luck Sunday Morning Service) is worth the stay. Owner is pastor.

My daughter lives,,, about six miles from the park you see.

Jekyll Island is really nice. For a little cheaper but close off I95 near the road out to Jekyll is Welcome to Golden Isles RV Park
Its a passport America park so cheap rates an decent wifi.

Loved the beaches there and great history too.
