Unhappy Georgia to Maine

Planning on leaving Georgia for Maine around the 15th of Sept. Wondering if I might have trouble with roads in the Northeast after Irene. Any one with first hand knowledge?

"Northeast" is a little fague. Can you be more specific? Vermont alone has some severe damage to many of the roadways.

Most do not realize the size of "Northeast". I'll be glad to help, but give us a little more direction please.
