My husband and I spent a week at Drummer Boy last summer. It was close to everything, but many of the spots were tight.....and the bathrooms were DISGUSTING! I don't think they cleaned the entire week we were there.

We are staying at Codorus State Park, Hanover. Can't say much because it is our next stop on our journey.

We stayed at the KOA two years ago and it was great. Used their shuttle to get into downtown. It was very convenient and the lots were nice.

We stayed at Cordorus State Park when we visited Gettysburg. It is a short drive to Gettysburg but not objectionable. It was also our base camp for trips to DC and the Baltimore area. If you stay there, don't overlook the pretzel factories in Hanover.

X2. My wife and I are part of Roberts crew this year work camping. We bust our butt to keep this place looking good for the next camper. Maybe I'm a little biased since I am working there but is the best rated camp ground in the area according to Good Sam.
