Gettysburg Battle field CG, and the Farm CG are the 2 that I know of. Very close to the attractions too.

Artillery Ridge CG is also close to the battleground and is also Passport America. Nice and quiet campground with a fine pool.

Having been born d raised in Gettysburg, my campground of choice has always been the Gettysburg Campground. Here is a link.
Gettysburg Campground

Nice, clean, freindly, has RV repair if needed. As far as being "near the battlefield" the entire town of Gettysburg, and 30 miles surrounding it is battlefield. This campground is about 5 minutes from downtown Gettysburg.

While you are at Gettysburg, be sure to travel down near Hagerstown, MD to see Antietam Battlefield. It is a very moving experience and the photos in the visitor center depict the horrors and valor on that bloodiest Day in history.

Gettysburg CG or Artillery Ridge Cg, would be 2 of our favorites. Drummer Boy would be our LEAST favorite, simply by the way it has changed under it's new owner. WAY tooo commercial.

Hi All,

We stayed at Artillery Ridge, and liked it! One nice thing is it is also the home of the National Riding Stables, and you can do a tour of the Battlefield on horseback wich was just wonderfull !!!!

We stayed at a state park about 15 miles west of there and it was fine and cheaper than some of the intown parks. Don't believe all the signs around there, the Yankees did not win.
