Gettysburg this weekend with the Scouts!

Taking 16 Dads and sons to Gettysburg for the weekend.

Since we are staying at the Round Top Campground, I couldn't resist the temptation of bringing my motorhome. So while everyone else is roughing it in tents, I will be in the coach on a sleep number bed!

We will hike the Billy Yank and Johnny Reb trails (17 miles) on Saturday and visit the Eisenhower farm on Sunday. Scouts will earn a series of commemerative patches for the hikes.

Congrats! How are you getting away with it? When my DS was scouting I tried to bring ours numerous times and was always turned away and told only handicapped scout masters can bring RV or trailers. Even the 65+ guy who was there with his grandson was in a tent. Good thing he had a very nice off the ground air mattress.

We are not staying within the Military Park but outside the park in the private campground. That way I could bring the MH.
