Glacier National Park

I, we would like to stay and visit glacier national park. Any suggestions for a nice place? We have a class a 30 foot MH and a pet. We are seniors and like to hike and sightsee. Thanks for any suggestions Doug

We have stayed here:

Columbia Falls RV Park

It is close to the National Park, super nice place. One of the best we've ever been to.

Be sure to check out the meat market next to the RV park if it is still there . . . excellent quality and prices.

Smile Mountain Meadows

We stayed in a heavily wooded RV park, Mountain Meadows. 10 minutes from the entrance to Glacier. Very nice and friendly. Each site is very private, very nice.

Looks like a really nice park. I have always wanted to see Glacier NP again . Last time was 50 years ago or more. (I was a kid) If I do make it up there, I think I would stay at Columbia Falls.

In case you don't know you cannot drive your motorhome on the highway across Glacier park. There are length and width restrictions.

Nice trip. We did it last year. Like cinnamon rolls or pastries? Be sure to go to PoleBridge. It's a remote place and has the best we've ever had!!!! Worth the trip and neat little community with 3 buildings. On map.

We prefer staying on the East side of Glacier. Easier drive to Waterton and other lodges.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA is a very convenient location.

If you don't care about having hookups, we stayed at Fish Creek Campground, on the West side inside the Park. Beautiful and quiet with easy access to McDonald Lake for swimming etc. Staying inside the Park also means you avoid the lines at the entrances when you want to go somewhere.

We enjoyed Two Medicine Campground on the east side, inside the park.
