Was in Columbia Falls two weeks ago. Great park and clean. Slightly tight but not overly so for our 41 ft MH. Good people and good eating spot nearby called the "Nighthawk" (I think). Enjoy.
Good luck, good health and safe travels!

Mike.

We went on past Polebridge to another entrance to the NP. Went up some one lane gravel roads to a campground & lake. Saw some black bear on the drive. Was beautiful drive.

Awesome. Thank you, I will definetely keep an eye out for that road as we like wildlife and scenic drives.

I just looked that up on Google Earth. The lake we went to was Bowman Lake. It's a good afternoon trip past Polebridge. Maybe only 15 mile to the lake. Google shows 6 mile as a crow would fly it??

But ask at Polebridge store where that N/W entrance to the park is. Then the park will give you a map. awesome drive. We did it in a little Chevrolet Cobolt so it can be done in anything. They might say different at park entrance??

Bowman lake is 6 or so mile long and 1/2 mile wide. Glacier feed & real clear.

Russell.

Great. Thanks again Russell. I am definetely going to do that. We will be in the Jeep and it likes non-paved roads.
