Ron

We were there about 5 years ago, but did not check out any of the CGs in the park. I understand there are no hook-ups, just dry camping. You do know that you cannot drive a 32 ft on the going to the sun road. I would not even won't to, my toes still curl thinking of it. There are two CGs just outside of the gate on the East side in St Marys. We stayed at the KOA. It was okay, not a KOA fan. s/Toby

We stayed at the KOA in West Glacier. It was pretty nice. The Red tour bus came right into the campground to pick us up and drop us off in the evening. Ate dinner at the outdoor resturtant in the campground also. All in all, a very nice stay and tour of the Going to the sun road.

Would you happen to know if the Red bus tour is handicap accessible?

I don't tow a car so if I stayed outside the park I would need transportation.

Thanks,

Ron

The red bus' are not accessible, are not heated(it gets cold/rainy at the top). We stayed at the ST. Mary's KOA which is clean, quiet, and the tour bus's pick up customers at the office. The Blackfeet Indians have a tour line which uses 20 passenger school bus's, not accessible either(standard school bus entry steps), heated though. We really liked the driver/guide. He told us about native history of the area, and would say it in english and his native tongue also.
A great day trip is drive your MH up to Waterton provincial Park at Waterton town there is a CG right in town if you choose to stay overnight. Prince-of-Wales Inn is about 1/2 mile away, and a breathtaking sight.

Ron, I forgot until now. For RV guests, the KOA owner has a safe in the office where he will store your gun til you return if you are going into Canada.
