Going father&son camping for the first time

Not sure how this will work, we both love to camp. The reason its our first time and he is 13 is now the girls are old enough that my wife won't kill me for leaving for the weekend. Great time planned, fishing, hiking and just sitting by the fire catching up. Anyone else?

Went good, he went to the top of the fire tower. I stayed on the ground. Now we are getting ready foe a week of youth camp for the church.

My son and I go camping together.
A bit differing in that he is 39 years young.

But good times and quality time at any age.
