Going to Bethpage this weekend!

Since I heard about this place in the thread regarding the IRV2 rally, we decided to try it out this weekend. Of course I will report back with our impressions of the place.

I will say right up front that we do wish the water park would be open, but the price of admission goes from $45 to $75 after that happens. Since we have never been there, I thought we would check it out at the $45 rate first.

At first blush, $75 a night (extra for holiday weekends) seems excessive. But, when you look at what the major water parks in the area cost, it is more reasonable. Of course I don't expect the water park to be at the level of a King's Dominion, but being able to camp at the park is a plus.

Looking forward to checking it out.

Yes, please report back, Duane. If you think to, take some pics & post a review in our Campgrounds section.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

We will be at the Bethpage C&RR beginning May 18th for 4 days and expect to fine tune and finalize all the arrangements at that time for our National Rally.
