Hi arthur54, after leaving Quartzsite Jan 30 we're heading to Harlingen, TX just east of La Feria. We stayed in La Feria a couple of times, once at the Kenwood RV park and another at the V.I.P. La Feria RV park.

Quite a few things to do in the area, nice Zoo at Brownsville, then there's the South Padre Island which has a bird sanctuary. Nice little shops and eating places at Port Isabel on the way to the island.

There's also the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge in the area of McAllen.

If you like swap meets there's one between Donna and Weslaco called DonWest swap meet. Some folks go across the border to Progresso MX, but don't think we'll be going across this year.

Have a safe trip and enjoy...

We have just pulled out of Kenwood, nice park and they have some wicked promo deals for first time visitors, around 200 for the month. Nice indoor pool and hot tub if the weather is not in the 70's
