Busskipper. Great breakdown! Thanks. Will review everyone's input and map out plan by end of this week as I see many campgrounds have limited space already. I will post final plans which are always subject to change!! The beauty of the MH.

I made a reservation at the independent canyon village campground in the south rim. I read in one of the reviews that it is closing in Sept 2017 for a hotel? I thought it was funny that they confirmed my reservation without a credit card. Should I be concerned? No other spots for my dates in Sept Re available near the south rim.

This park is just outside the national park and is in Tusayan. The web site states possible closing Nov. 1 so you should be o.k. Did you try for a spot inside the park at Trailer Village? It would be a lot more convenient.

Here's the web site for Canyon Village where you made reservations and you can see they give the Nov. 1 date.

Ditto: the Oasis RV resort in Vegas! One of our favorites we have stayed in!
Hoover dam a must if you have never been. Even if u can only stop by and take pics for an hour.
Grand Canyon-amazing! We regret not staying longer than just a day.

Haven't been to the others but now we know![emoji12]
