Gold Country Camping, Nor Cal

Hello fellow campers. I wanna take my kids to the Gold Country especially near Nevada City. We'll be there Apr 2012. Where's a good place to camp? We have a 30'TT, don't need hookups or wifi, just want a quiet kid-friendly family campground. We love to hike and explore backroads. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kel.

In grass valley there is a campground at the fair grounds. Has hook ups and is pretty nice. Not much else around to camp at. Good luck.

check on marble quarry camp ground in Columbia Ca. i think you might like it. it's next to the gold mining town of columbia off ca 49.
