Good RV Park for Nashville Tennessee
Help please. We are new to RV'g. Have a Winnebago View Model 24V.
We will travel to the Nashville Tennessee area last week in March. We will not have a car, just the RV.
We are looking for a nice RV Park with full hook up that has reasonable shuttle service to/from the Nashville entertainment area. Will be there three days.
Any opinions out there?

Welcome,
Use SEARCH (up in the tool bar). There is an existing thread about Nashville campgrounds.

There was a thread last week on the same thing. There are three campgrounds in a row on Music Valley Drive. I stayed twice and like Two Rivers Campground Two Rivers Campground | Home | Nashville, Tenn. | Attractions and I remember a small bus picking people up but don't know the arrangements. The other two are the Nashville KOA Nashville, Tennessee Campground | Nashville KOA and the last is the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ - Nashville, TN | Where You Camp With Friends!® When you run the numbers the cost is within a few dollars of each other. All these are right down the road from the Grand Ole Opry. I would call and find out who has the best transportation.

We stayed at Two Rivers two weeks ago and it was not great, but it was okay. The other two are not any better. They are the closest to the Opry.

We had our last iRV2 Rally at the Nashville KOA on Music Valley Drive (iRV2 header photo is of that location). You can book shuttles right in the lobby. You won't even have to drive to a restaurant as Cock of the Walk is right next door. And if you need anything for your RV, CampingWorld is next to that.

We stayed at TWO Rivers about three years ago and had to disconnect from shore power due to bad power. Thank god for our Surge Protection. Will not stay there again JR

Cant comment on Jellystone, but stayed at the KOA in December. They have upgraded their premium sites and were in the process of rebuilding their pool and playground area. They had someone in the lobby at the office to help with tickets to activities and transportation.

3 years ago we stayed at Two Rivers. We rode our bikes though Yogi and the KOA to check them out. If we went back we'd probably stay at the KOA. It seemed to be the nicer of the 3.

Yes, we've stayed there at least three time and think it is fine. We haven't stayed at the others, but we have driven through them and think Jellystone is nicer. Just our opinion.

Oh, yea. We stayed at the site in the right rear corner and had power issues while we were there.

To get to the downtown area of Nashville where the bars and country music can be found, take the Downtown Shuttle. They pick you up right from any of the three campgrounds located on Music Valley Drive. It is $10 round trip and they drop you off/pick you up downtown in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. We stay at the KOA as it seems to be the best option for us. There is a back way over to the Mall/Grand Ole Opry and it is very close to the three campgrounds. We love it in Nashville and stop every year on our way south for the winter.
